MAHESH BABU as JAMES BOND
Prince Mahesh Babu is always prefers variety and a perfect bound script.According to latest filn nagar news is that Mahesh Babu has given the nod to act in Meher Ramesh’s film, which is a remake of Gudachari 116. Mahesh’s father superstar Krishna had starred as undercover agent in this film. It had broken all the records then.It may be recalled that Krishna was the first ever hero in Telugu to act in the Bond film. The success of Gudachari 116 saw many sequels to the film and interestingly all the movies are considered as super hits.
The movie will hit the floors in next May (2011) and produced by RR Movie Makers.

Prince Mahesh Babu and Power Star Pawan Kalyan came toghether yesterday bacause of ongoing turmoil in telugu film industry. But very first time they together attended an important meeting to solve the problems between Producers council and Employees Federation. A confidential meeting (comprising heroes, producers, director and other key people attended the meeting) was held yesterday in a star hotel to resolve the ongoing crisis.
Pawan Kalyan and Prince Mahesh attended the meeting to extend their part to settle the issue.
Ramcharan's birthday gift to Rana
Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan and Sureshbabu's son Rana are best friends and everyone in Tollywood knows about it. It was Rana's birthday this week and Ramcharan gifted his friend a new blackberry phone. Cherry also bought a cake and cut it for Rana. The two of them acknowledged the gift on social networking site twitter.
"Thanks for the gift" Rana tweeted to Cherry and informed that it was a brand new blackberry.
"I needed a new blackberry so badly" he added.

Shah Rukh Khan is a self-confessed fan of Akon's music. Now that they have jammed together for a song in Ra.One the two have become so close that Akon has promised to give Shah Rukh some tips on "cool rapping" in exchange for Hindi lessons from Shah Rukh.R& B singer Akon has sung in Hindi for a track in Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One. Initially it was meant to be only a smattering of words in Hindi. Now there are passages of Hindi by Akon. The absence of an accent in his singing of the Hindi words in the track took Shah Rukh Khan so much by surprise that he decided to add some more Hindi words and lines into Akon's song in Ra.One.
Confirming this, composer Shekhar Ravjiani speaking on behalf of the duo Vishal-Shekhar who have composed the Akon track, says, "Akon's Hindi took all of us by surprise. It was almost like he had been speaking the language all his life. No one could believe Akon was seeing those Hindi lines for the first time. He just rattled of the lines as if he was conversant with Hindi. When you hear the song you will see no difference in the singing quality of Akon's English and Hindi lines."
Ra.One is expected to have 10 tracks. Vishal-Shekhar are in the process of creating the soundtrack.
Says Shekhar, "The director Anubhav Sinha has such a keen ear for music. He understands ragas, rhythm, melody and the format of music composition. Shah Rukh too is very clued to world music. We are creating the kind of global sound in Ra.One which has never been heard in Indian cinema before."
Suriya to play lead in Telugu and Tamil '3 Idiots'?
With it becoming clear that Mahesh Babu will not do '3 Idiots' remake in Telugu as it is clashing with his dates for 'Dhukudu', Shankar, the director has supposedly decided to go with Suriya as the lead hero for both Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie. Sources say Tamil star Vijay is also not doing the movie in Tamil as was declared earlier.
Since Suriya is well known face in both AP and Tamilnadu, Shankar thinks it is double whammy and easy to finish the project if worked with Suriya who is as talented as Aamir Khan is. Though there is no official communication on this from the makers yet, it is likely that Suriya is the main lead for the movie.
‘Mr Perfect’ may not hit screen during Sankranthi
Produced by Dil Raju and directed by Dasarath of ‘Santosham’ fame, a romantic entertainer ‘Mr Perfect’ with Prabhas as hero, Kajal and Tapsee as heroines, was slated for release during Pongal as per the announcement of the producer.
However, the film’s release is likely to be postponed to the end of January or to early February due to the impasse in the Tollywood. The ongoing controversy and the clash between the Tamil and Telugu fighters resulted in halting of shootings.
The shooting of the balance film is likely to resume after the successful end of Tollywood strike and hence the postponement seemed to be inevitable, according to sources from Film Nagar.
It is learnt that Prabhas is playing a different role in this movie.
